Response Maintenance is a family built Ccompany that leans heavily on its military roots, and values and standards.
Our founder served in the Royal Engineers and deployed to Iraq, specialising in the sewage system of Al Basra. The open canals, built by the British, were in a poor state on his arrival. He set to task, having them dredged, clearing the blockages and deepening them, making them fit for purpose in a modern Iraqi era.
The tidal sluice gates were rusted shut from many years of neglect. Worked upon, he had them restored and operational again.
With the sewage system now functional and adequate, the storm drains were no longer used for the removal of human waste; preventing it from flowing down the sides of the roads in 50oC heat, the city’s air was transformed.
Immensely proud of his work, the people of Iraq benefited from his efforts. He left the service several years later and founded Response Maintence, instilling into his engineers this work ethic and drive to provide the highest level of service. He expects nothing but the very highest of standards and is constantly heard saying: Be the best.
